These Terms apply when you create a SkillCoded account or use its interactive features. Public visitors may read lessons and take anonymous quizzes without an account, but must not misuse the service.
The service
SkillCoded provides educational IT lessons, guided practice, quizzes, and optional account features. The material supports learning; it is not a certification, an employment promise, or production-specific professional advice. Check technical actions in a safe environment before using them on a live system.
Accounts
Public lessons and anonymous quizzes are available without an account. An optional account keeps private progress and requires only a username and password. SkillCoded does not request an account email address. Keep the password and one-time recovery code secure and notify skillcodedadmin@gmail.com if you suspect compromise.
Your chosen username stays inside your private account. It must not impersonate SkillCoded or another person, contain abusive or restricted language, or include contact information. We may reject or reset a username that breaks these rules.
Acceptable use
You must not:
- break the law or infringe another person's rights;
- probe, attack, disrupt, or bypass security and rate limits;
- send malware, secrets, or another person's personal information;
- automate abusive traffic, manipulate scores, or impersonate another person or SkillCoded;
- misrepresent the source, authorship, or endorsement of content;
- bulk-copy, scrape, republish, sell, or use SkillCoded material to build a dataset or train a model without written permission, except where applicable law or a separate licence allows it.
Lesson suggestions
Signed-in account holders may submit a short private lesson suggestion. A suggestion is not a purchase and does not guarantee that a lesson will be created or published. SkillCoded may select suitable suggestions for the future public curriculum at its discretion. No payment or lesson credits are accepted for this feature during the public beta.
Do not include personal or confidential information, secrets, links, copied course material, exam dumps, malware, or instructions intended to bypass safety or quality controls. You keep any rights you hold in an original suggestion and give SkillCoded a non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to review its topic, goal, and non-confidential details and use them to decide, design, or improve educational material. This does not require publication or payment.
Content and intellectual property
SkillCoded content and branding are owned by the operator or used under licence. Unless a separate licence says otherwise, you may use the material for personal, lawful learning but may not republish or sell it. Lesson suggestions remain private inputs and are not public posts.

Availability, suspension, and ending use
The beta may change, pause, or remove features. We may limit or suspend an account when reasonably necessary for security, unlawful activity, or a material breach of these Terms. Where practical, the action will be proportionate and you may ask for review by contacting us. You may stop using the service or request account deletion at any time.
Responsibility and consumer rights
The service is provided with reasonable care, but beta availability and error-free operation are not promised. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the provider is not responsible for indirect or unforeseeable loss caused by relying on educational material without validating it for your environment. Nothing in these Terms excludes statutory consumer rights or any liability that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by Romanian law and applicable European Union law. If you are a consumer, you keep the mandatory protections and legal remedies available in your place of residence. You may contact skillcodedadmin@gmail.com for an informal resolution, but doing so does not limit those remedies.
Changes and contact
Material changes apply prospectively, receive an updated effective date, and are communicated appropriately. Account holders will be asked to accept a new version where required. Questions may be sent to skillcodedadmin@gmail.com.
